Where does the data come from?
The public FMCSA Company Census File (dataset az4n-8mr2 on data.transportation.gov), read via the SODA/API — not by scraping SAFER HTML. Per state: physical state filter, status A, AUTHORIZED FOR HIRE, ordered by recent add_date. Details on the About page.
Is a new USDOT the same as an active MC authority?
No. That is the most important caveat. Use SAFER and L&I to confirm operating authority and insurance before you quote. This product surfaces new census appearances; it does not certify Motus MC grants or insurance X-dates.
Do you cover every state?

How fresh is the feed?

How good are the phone numbers and emails?
Contacts are as filed on the public census — not SMTP-verified and not LinkedIn-enriched. Filing services sometimes put their own email on many USDOTs. Treat filed contacts as starting points; verify reachability yourself and always check SAFER before quoting.
Can I call and email these carriers?
They are businesses listed in a public federal record. How you contact them is your decision and your responsibility. Federal and state rules on calling (including the TCPA), Do Not Call registries, and commercial email (CAN-SPAM) can apply to your outreach, and phone numbers are as filed, so some may be cell phones. Buyers are responsible for their own outreach compliance. This isn't legal advice; check with your own counsel.
Is pricing per state or national unlimited?
Per state pack. The $79/mo seat applies to each state you subscribe to. That keeps the model scalable as you add markets without forcing a national bundle you do not need.
What’s your purchase / cancel policy?
