Near real-time trucking insurance cancellation leads, delivered every weekday morning
Fresh, filtered, ready to work every weekday morning without touching a government database. Each morning we join four FMCSA datasets (insurance history, active insurance, authority suspensions and the carrier census), drop carriers that already have a replacement BIPD filing on record, keep business carriers only and add the business phone and email they filed. You see yesterday's cancellations before a weekly list would arrive. Built for trucking insurance agents.
Yesterday's cancellations in your inbox every weekday morning
Every weekday morning we pull FMCSA's public insurance and authority records and email you a CSV of Florida and Texas for-hire carriers that just lost their BIPD insurance filing (and have no replacement on file) or were served an involuntary authority suspension notice, which leads to revocation if not cured. These carriers need a new policy filed to keep running.
Weekly and monthly lists reach you days after a carrier starts shopping. Ours is built from FMCSA's daily filings and lands every weekday morning, near real-time. FMCSA posts cancellations around or after the effective date, so this is not an early-warning feed: it is the list of carriers who need coverage now.

NewLapse Leads FAQ
Where does the NewLapse data come from?
Free, official FMCSA datasets on data.transportation.gov: Motus InsHist (insurance filing history, including BMC-91/91X BIPD cancellations), Motus Insur (active filings, used to drop carriers that already have a replacement BIPD filing), Motus RevokeSuspend (operating-authority suspension notices) and the FMCSA Company Census (business name, city/state/ZIP, business phone, filed email, fleet size).
Can't I get this myself?
Yes. All four FMCSA datasets are public on data.transportation.gov. To match this file you would query Motus InsHist for BIPD cancellations, check every hit against Motus Insur to drop carriers that already filed replacement coverage, add authority suspension notices from Motus RevokeSuspend, join each USDOT number to the Company Census for name, phone, email and fleet size, filter to your state and to business carriers, and repeat it every morning. We do that before you start work and email you the CSV.
Is this an early-warning or X-date feed?
No. FMCSA posts insurance cancellations around or after the cancellation effective date, so each row is a carrier whose BIPD filing was just cancelled or whose authority just received an involuntary suspension notice. It is a daily, after-the-fact list of carriers that need coverage now, not a prediction. FMCSA publishes these datasets once a day, so the file is fresh every weekday morning.
Do you remove carriers that already replaced their insurance?
Yes. Any carrier with an active BIPD filing on FMCSA's active-insurance dataset at build time is removed from the cancellation rows. Filings can still change after the file is built, so verify on SAFER / L&I before quoting.
What columns are in the file?
Carrier legal name, USDOT, MC docket, city, state, ZIP, business phone as filed, business email as filed (personal-domain emails removed), power units, drivers, event type, event date, prior insurer (cancellation rows) and source. Business entities only; no owner or officer names.
Is it exclusive?
No. FMCSA data is public and other vendors sell similar feeds. You get a clean, filtered CSV for your state delivered by email fresh every weekday morning, with no login or dashboard.
How often is it delivered?
Daily. A fresh CSV arrives by email every weekday morning with the carriers posted since the previous business day (Monday's file covers Friday through Sunday), plus a Monday weekly roundup of the prior 7 days. FMCSA updates these datasets once a day.
How much does it cost?
$79/month per state. Month to month, cancel by email. At checkout, choose NewLapse in the Feed Type dropdown and type your state in the State field.
